Jorien Aberkrom (1997) is fascinated in programming electronics. With interactive installations she makes others aware of important challenges of todays' society. One example is her installation 'wait, what?' which sucks you in an innocent looking game. After playing a game, the installation prints a receipt with all information that was collected about you. The normally untouchable concept of data collection gets physical and easy to understand. Upcoming time Aberkrom will focus on broadening her network and skills, as well as create new works for upcoming exhibitions.
